 関西大学では、米国土安全保障省が発表したハーバード大学の留学生受け入れに関するプログラムの停止の措置に関して、米国の大学における学修もしくは研究活動の継続が困難になった留学生（留学予定者を含む）・研究者を一時的に受け入れることにより、大学での学びと研究の機会を奪われた学生・研究者に向けた支援を行うことを決定しました。現時点における支援の概要は以下のとおりです。詳細については追ってお知らせしますが、可能な限り個別の事情を勘案した丁寧な支援を行えるよう検討してまいります。
 当然のことながら、米国に留学予定の本学学生に対しては、留学先の変更等、学修を継続するために必要な支援を行います。

支援内容
 ・日本への渡航に必要な手続き等※の支援
 ・授業料等減免（学生のみ）
 ・学生寮費もしくは居住費
 ・研究関係施設の利用（研究者のみ）
 ・その他（オフィスアワー、心理カウンセリング等）

※ 日本への渡航費、滞在費を含めて検討しています。

Support for Accepting International Students and Researchers from the United States

In response to the US Department of Homeland Security's announcement that Harvard University will suspend its programs accepting international students, Kansai University has decided to support students and researchers who have been deprived of the opportunity to study and research at a university by temporarily accepting international students (including those planning to study abroad) and researchers who are finding it difficult to continue their studies or research activities at a US university. The outline of the support currently being provided is as follows. More details will be announced at a later date, but we will consider how to provide careful support that takes into account individual circumstances as much as possible.
For Kansai University students planning to study in the US, we will provide necessary support, such as changing their study abroad destination, in order to continue their studies.

Support Details
・Support for procedures required for travel to Japan, etc.*
・Tuition reduction, etc. (for students only)
・Student dormitory or residence fees
・Use of research-related facilities (for researchers only)
・Others (office hours, psychological counseling, etc.)

* We are considering including travel and accommodation expenses to Japan.
