Overview
The Asuka Institute is in Asuka, a treasure trove of ancient Japanese history surrounded by nature. Nearby sites of interest include the Ishibutai Tomb, a Special Historic Site, as well as Asuka-dera Temple, Takamatsuzuka, and the Kitora Tomb. KOGAKUKAN (Osaka Prefecture)
Overview
KOGAKUKAN was built on the Takatsuki campus as a part of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Kansai University. At the nearby Settsu Gorge, visitors can enjoy the colors of the four seasons, including over 3,000 cherry trees in bloom during spring, vivid fresh foliage in summer, and red leaves during autumn. - From Settsu-Tonda Station or Takatsuki Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line (Kyoto Line), take a Takatsuki City Bus for 20 minutes, get off at Nishino-kuchi (Kansai University Main Gate), and then walk about five minutes.
Hakuba Tsugaike-Kogen Lodge (Nagano Prefecture)
Overview
Hakuba Tsugaike-Kogen Lodge is situated at the foot of the Tsugaike ski area in a lush northern part of Nagano. Visitors can enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the winter as well as Tsugaike Nature Park, one of Japan's most impressive high moors, from spring to autumn. The park is home to Asian skunk cabbages, day lilies, and various other beautiful alpine plants. (Capacity: 46 people)

- Take a bus from Hakuba Station or Hakuba Oike Station on the JR Oito Line, get off at Tsugaike Kogen Bus Stop, and walk about 20 minutes.

- About 70 km by car from the Azumino IC on the Nagano Expressway.

ROKKOSANSO (Hyogo Prefecture)
Overview
This villa is situated in Mt. Rokko National Park, an area north of Kobe City, near the mountain's lush summit. From the terrace, visitors can enjoy panoramic night views of Kobe City. There are also nearby tourist spots such as an artificial snow ski area, Rokko Garden Terrace, and Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, enabling visitors to experience all that the four seasons have to offer. - From Rokkomichi Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line (Kobe Line), Hankyu Rokko Station, or Hanshin Mikage Station, take a Kobe City Bus and get off at the Rokko Cable Shita stop.
- Take the Rokko Cable Car to Rokko Sanjo Station (about 10 minutes).
- From Rokko Sanjo Station, take a Sanjo Bus (circular bus), get off at the Athletic Park Mae stop, and then walk about five minutes.
HIKONESO (Shiga Prefecture)
Overview
This villa is located near the eastern shore of Lake Biwa, enabling visitors to view the changing seasonal faces of the Lake from the windows. There is also an avenue of cherry trees on the site, which bloom in the spring to the delight of visitors. In addition, visitors can take advantage of two tennis courts and an outdoor barbecue area.(Capacity 24 people)

- From Hikone Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line (Biwako Line), take an Ohmi Railway Bus or Kokoku Bus, get off at Hassakakitaguchi or Hassakakitamachi, and then walk about three minutes.
