  学生・保護者・教職員の皆様へ

  4月14日に大阪府から「緊急のお願い」が掲出されました。これについて本日開催の本学の新型コロナウイルス感染症に関する対策本部会議において検討した結果、下記のとおり取り扱うことといたしましたのでお知らせいたします。

  対面授業については、4月16日（金）～17日（土）を休講（既に遠隔授業としているものは予定どおり実施）とし、4月19日（月）から5月5日（水）までの間は、原則として遠隔授業とすることといたします。ただし、実験・実習等、学部・研究科が認める授業については、感染予防策を徹底することを前提に、対面授業を認めることといたします。また、課外活動についても原則禁止といたします。

  本学では、これまで、新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大予防策を講じたうえで、教育的効果など総合的な観点から、原則対面での授業を行ってまいりました。今後もこの基本的な方針は堅持いたします。しかしながら、昨今の大阪府や近隣府県の感染状況、今般の大阪府の要請を受け、上記の取扱いとすることを決定いたしました。本学としては引き続き保健所と連携、協力し、感染拡大の防止に最大限努めるとともに、状況を注視し、検討を継続してまいります。

  学生及び教職員の皆さんにおかれましては、学内外にかかわらず、不要不急の外出や移動を控えるとともに、最大限の注意を払い、一人ひとりが感染しない、感染させないための行動を徹底するよう、より一層の感染防止対策にご理解とご協力をお願いいたします。

Response to request from Osaka Prefecture

"Urgent Request" was posted by Osaka Prefecture on April 14.  As a result of discussions at the meeting of the university's Countermeasures Headquarter on COVID-19 held today, Kansai University has decided to handle the situation as follows:

Regarding face-to-face classes, we will cancel from Friday 16th April to Saturday 17th April.  The classes that have already been set up as remote classes will be implemented as scheduled.  In principle, remote classes will be held from Monday 19th April to Wednesday 5th May.  However, face-to-face classes will be allowed for laboratory, practical courses and other classes approved by the faculty, graduate school, provided that infection control measures are taken thoroughly.  Extracurricular activities will also be prohibited in principle.

Kansai University has taken measures to prevent the spread of New Coronavirus infections, and has conducted face-to-face classes in principle until now from a comprehensive perspective, including educational effectiveness.  We will continue to adhere to this basic policy in the future.  However, in response to the recent outbreaks in Osaka and neighboring prefectures, as well as the recent request from Osaka Prefecture, we have decided to take the above measures.  We will continue to work with the local public health center to prevent the spread of the infection to the maximum extent possible, and will continue to monitor the situation closely.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in taking further measures to prevent infection, such as refraining from going out or moving around unnecessarily, both on and off campus, taking the utmost care, and ensuring that each and every one of us does everything we can to prevent infection.
