KU KAISERS earned its second Koshien Bowl win for the first time in 62 seasons

Kansai University American football team KAISERS defeated Hosei University TOMAHAWKS by a score of 50-38 at the 64th Mainichi Koshien Bowl held at Hanshin Koshien Stadium on December 13, making it Japan's best university American football team.
The team is now qualified for the 27th Rice Bowl, the American football national championships, scheduled for January 3, 2010 at Tokyo Dome, pitting itself against an adult champion team.
