米国留学生・研究者の受入れ支援について※6月10日更新　(日本語／English)

 関西大学では、米国土安全保障省が発表したハーバード大学の留学生受け入れに関するプログラムの停止の措置に関して、米国の大学における学修もしくは研究活動の継続が困難になった留学生（留学予定者を含む）・研究者を一時的に受け入れることにより、大学での学びと研究の機会を奪われた学生・研究者に向けた支援を行うことを決定しました。現時点における支援の概要は以下のとおりです。
 なお、当然のことながら、米国に留学予定の本学学生に対しては、留学先の変更等、学修を継続するために必要な支援を行います。

1　学生の受入れ（学部・研究科）
 米国での留学が困難となり、学業の継続に強い意思を有する学生を特別聴講学生として、すべて受け入れます。

 受入期間：2025年秋学期
 対象者：
  ・所属大学の在籍証明書もしくは入学許可書等が提出できる者
  ・学業の継続に強い意思を有する者
  ・本学が定める日本語又は英語の運用能力を有する者
 支援内容：
  ・日本への渡航に必要な費用・手続きの支援
  ・聴講料の免除
  ・学生寮の手配と寮費の支援
  ※学生寮の入室状況により対応人数に限りがあります。

2　研究者の受入れ
 研究分野が合致する本学の学部・研究科での受入れを行います。その場合、日本への渡航費、滞在費等を本学の規程に基づき支給します。その他可能な限り個別の事情を勘案した丁寧な支援を行います。

Support for accepting international students and researchers from the U.S. *Updated as of June 10


  In response to the US Department of Homeland Security's announcement that Harvard University will suspend its programs accepting international students, Kansai University has decided to support students and researchers who have been deprived of the opportunity to study and research at a university by temporarily accepting international students (including those planning to study abroad) and researchers who are finding it difficult to continue their studies or research activities at a US university. The outline of the support currently being provided is as follows.
For Kansai University students planning to study in the U.S., we will provide necessary support, such as changing their study abroad destination, in order to continue their studies.


1. Acceptance of Students (Faculty/Graduate School)
All students who are unable to study in the U.S. and have a strong desire to continue their studies are accepted as Special Audit Students.

Acceptance period:
Fall Semester 2025

Eligible Applicants:
・Those who can submit a certificate of enrollment or admission letter from their home university
・Those who have a strong desire to continue their studies
・Those who have Japanese or English proficiency as determined by Kansai University

Contents of Support:
・Support for the expenses and procedures required for traveling to Japan
・Audience fee exemption
・Student dormitory arrangements and dormitory fee support
(The number of people we can accommodate is limited depending on the dormitory occupancy status.)


2. Acceptance of Researchers
We will accept researchers into faculties and graduate schools of Kansai University whose research fields match. In such cases, we will provide travel expenses to Japan, living expenses, etc. in accordance with Kansai University's regulations. We will also provide other careful support as much as possible, taking into account individual circumstances.
