Daisuke Takahashi (Graduate School of Letters), Kansai University Ice Skating Club member, finished in the fifth place in the men's singles at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2011, held in Moscow, Russia from April 25 to May 1. Nobunari Oda (Graduate School of Letters), also a Kansai University Ice Skating Club member, came sixth.
