The Seventh Kan-Dai International Speech Contest in Japanese
The Seventh Kan-Dai International Speech Contest in Japanese was held at Senriyama Campus by the Division of International Affairs on December 16, 2009.
Among seven contestants, Pirhady Behareh (Iranian, Graduate School of Letters) won the President Award for her speech titled "Misusage of Japanese and funny experiences". She spoke passionately about her experiences where she picked the wrong words for the wrong occasion in the early days of her life in Japan.
Le Thi Dung (Vietnamese, Faculty of Letters) won the Topic Award by audience vote for her speech titled "My experience in Japan" regarding Japanese people and experiences which braced her up.
