Tomoyuki Takahashi, Professor of the Faculty of Societal Safety Sciences, was selected to become the University's 44th president at the Board of Trustees meeting held on July 18th and will succeed current President Yutaka Maeda. Prof. Takahashi's presidential term is approximately two years and nine months, from October 1, 2024 to the conclusion of the first annual meeting of the Board of Trustees convened on or after April 1, 2027.
