The Graduate School of Business and Commerce trains students to become skilled researchers who can conduct creative research in advanced areas of knowledge, or to become highly-qualified professionals with the expertise and practical knowledge needed to solve complex and diverse problems in business.
The Graduate School offers: 1) a major in Business and Commerce which is oriented towards first-rate research and preparation for the Ph.D. Program (Academic Research Course) and 2) a high-quality business professional course (Professional Research Course). The former course offers subjects in five specialized academic fields; Management, Distribution, Finance, International Business, and Accounting under the instruction of academic advisors. The latter course offers subjects in three fields; Strategic Management, Distribution and International Business, and Finance and Accounting.
In 2015, the Data Scientist Program (DS Program) was established for the purpose of fostering Data Scientists who can generate valuable information with the application of large-scale data stored in and out of enterprises, through advanced information technology.
In 2021, the Global Retailing Program will be introduced into the Professional Research Courses, providing global insights for the retail industry.
In 2022, the Tax and Accounting Strategy Program will be introduced into Professional Research Courses, especially for students who want to become Certified Public Tax Accountants, Zeirishi.
