Global Career Mind Program : Day 10 Activities

On Day 10 of the Global Career Mind Program, Kansai University and Otterbein University students came together in a COIL session to share the way their cultures celebrate significant cultural events (such as Christmas, New Year's, Halloween, Obon, Valentine's Day, Hanami, Graduation, Prom, Setsubun, Coming of Age Day and others). After the session, students were instructed to record their most surprising learning moments of the day and upload them to the shared Flipgrid. Next week in the final COIL session, the students will explore the communication style similarities and differences between the US and Japan.

In the post-program orientation, the students reviewed the program goals and expectations, took care of final housekeeping matters and reminders, and shared their impressions and takeaways from the UCB sessions.
