Global Career Mind Program : UCB Day 3 Activities

Day 3 of the UCB Online Program began with a reflection session in which the students were given an opportunity to discuss and comment on the article

"Why Japanese Don't Use LinkedIn" from the previous day's activities.

Following reflection, they met with UCB lead instructor, Professor Brett Yokom, to review the content of the previous day and work on their presentation skills.

The rest of the day they sat in on lectures given by guest speaker David Mitroff (profile below), and heard from Haruko DeArth (Founder/Chief Creator at Lovetheway) and James D. Robinson (Japanese Expat Housing Specialist based in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, CA) and were able to ask questions from these first-hand experts in working in global businesses and the inner workings of networking in Silicon Valley.

The day concluded with a tutorial on building up the LinkedIn profiles they had set up  in Day 2.
