IIGE Global Network
What is the IIGE Global Network?
The IIGE Global Network consists of COIL Partner Universities, the IIGE Network, and KU-COIL Network.
COIL Partner Universities are Kansai University official overseas partner universities under the 2018 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) "Inter-University Exchange Project." Under this agreement, in addition to conducting COIL courses, Kansai University also collaborates with its COIL Partner Universities to provide overseas experiences for domestic and international students through the COIL Plus Program.
The IIGE Network consists of overseas institutions that have committed to establishing a cooperative relationship with IIGE to pursue academic collaboration through the implementation of COIL courses to accomplish Kansai University’s goal of becoming a platform for VE/COIL.
COIL Partner Universities and IIGE Network members will be given priority to participate in various COIL seminars and workshops. Some events are exclusive to COIL Partner Universities and IIGE Network members.
The KU-COIL Network encompasses a group of overseas universities with which Kansai University has conducted COIL courses and engaged in course matching activities, beginning in 2014.
The IIGE Global Network is currently making efforts to expand membership options to universities in Asia, North America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
