The Japan Hub for Innovative Global Education (JIGE) is proud to be a gold sponsor of the 2023 International Virtual Exchange Conference (IVEC). 

To launch this new initiative, Takao Fujita (vice-president of Kansai University and director of IIGE) and Keiko Ikeda (vice-director of IIGE and JIGE project lead) gave a talk introducing the initiative, its partner universities, and the core activities. 

 

The Japan Hub for Innovative Global Education is a collaborative educational initiative by three Japanese Universities (Kansai University, Tohoku University, and Chiba University) launched in 2023 with significant funding from Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) under the Inter-University Exchange Project. JIGE aims at revolutionizing higher education and workforce development through innovative virtual, blended mobility, and internship programs.
