【Gym】

This is our gym. Here, we do various things such as PE class, Christmas Concerts, Cultural Festivals, and Graduation Ceremonies.The arena has rollback chairs to save space.There is also a stage. Above the stage, there is a sound-proof room.

Kindergarten kids come here to the gym to experience demo lessons.

【Apple School】

Kansai University Elementary school is an Apple School.

Each student has an iPad for study.We have six Apple Distinguished Educators (Apple teachers) in our school.We use iPads when we have to hand in assignments. Our students are good at using software.For applications, we use Keynote, Number, iMovie, Pages, and more.

Our Apple teachers are amazing!One of Apple teacher made an application named “Rabbits.”It is an English learning application.We use it in our English class.

If we have trouble, our Apple teachers can fix our iPads quickly.

In this way, our Apple teacher and our school is amazing!

【Scool clubs】

This is about our school clubs.

Many schools have clubs, but we also have our own school clubs.We can join school club activities starting from the 4th grade.The students can decide what to do during club time.

For example, we have a programming club.In this club, we can use robots and iPads. Then we program and give instructions to the robots.We also have a science experiments club.In the science experiments club, we make a lot of things.For example bath bombs, slimes, soaps, etc.

These are some of our school clubs. What do you think ?We have about 9 clubs in total!

【Emergency Storage】

In Kansai University Elementary School we are well prepared for an emergency.

We have a heliport and storage in our school.

First we will introduce the heliport. The heliport is on the roof.

A helicopter can come when there is an emergency.

Next we will introduce our storage rooms. In the storage rooms we have a lot of food, blankets, tents, gasoline, and firewood, etc, so we can feel and be safe!!

When the North Osaka earthquake happened we used those things for emergency.

At that time we used the pool’s water, and some biscuits and stew to eat.

If the Nankai Trough occurs, having a stock pile of goods in the warehouse will make us feel relieved.

So, in an emergency the students can be safe in school.
