We offer English-taught Master’s and Doctoral Programs, as well as Double Degree (DD) Master’s Programs in partnership with Justus Liebig University Giessen (Germany), National Central University (Taiwan), and Chung Yuan Christian University (Taiwan).

The Master’s Degree Program in the Graduate School of Science and Engineering is structured into three majors comprising nine disciplines:

Engineering Science Major

– Mathematics
– Pure and Applied Physics
– Mechanical Engineering
– Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering

Environmental and Urban Engineering Major

– Architecture
– Civil, Environmental and Applied Systems Engineering
– Chemical, Energy and Environmental Engineering

Chemistry, Materials and Bioengineering Major

– Chemistry and Materials Engineering
– Life Science and Biotechnology

These programs are designed to provide students with advanced specialized knowledge and technological expertise. Each major fosters:

  • the ability to understand the fundamental principles underlying advanced knowledge and emerging technologies,
  • the ability to address technological challenges from both hardware and software perspectives, and
  • the ability to apply material functions across diverse systems and devices, in alignment with the concepts of system building, urban development, and manufacturing.

Our goal is to cultivate professionals who can lead the next generation of global industry by combining strong scientific and technological capabilities with the ability to tackle cutting-edge challenges across technological and social systems.

The Doctoral (Ph.D.) Degree Program encompasses the same nine disciplines, unified under the Integrated Science and Engineering Major. This program is designed to develop researchers with advanced expertise, outstanding research capabilities, and broad interdisciplinary knowledge, enabling them to integrate diverse fields and contribute at the forefront of science and engineering.
