外国語を使って異文化交流しよう！
日常では得られない異文化体験や国際交流を実体験できるグローバル・コミュニケーションスペース、
それがMi-Room(Multilingual Immersion Room)です。
キャンパス内に設置されている部屋（対面バージョン）と、仮想空間としてアクセスできる部屋（オンラインバージョン）の2種類あり、語学力の向上はもちろん、国際感覚を培うことができます。

Mi-Roomでできること
①Mi-Roomのレギュラーセッションに参加してみよう！
担当教員や学生スタッフGTA（Global Teaching Assistant）が、外国語学習や文化などの多彩なセッションを実施しています。
英語や多言語のスキルアップはもちろん、異文化や新しい言語に触れ、キャンパスライフにグローバル体験を取り込もう。

異文化交流イベントに参加して、留学生・関大生の友人をつくろう。世界各国の学生が集うスペシャルイベントも定期的に開催しています。

Virtual Mi-Roomでできること
Virtual Mi-Roomは、オンラインツールを活用した関大生と海外協定校の学生が自由に交流できる仮想空間です。自由な会話や、言語に分かれての気軽なおしゃべりを楽しむ事ができます。
①レギュラーイベント「スキマ留学」に参加してみよう！
日本語・英語をメインに、その他の言語でも話すことができる会話スペースを設置しています。「日本語で留学生・海外学生と交流する」「学習中の言語をネイティブの学生に教えてもらう」ということも可能です。
②オンラインイベントに参加しよう！
イベントに参加して、異文化交流をしよう。2023年度はイギリス・バーミンガム大学との合同イベントや、12か国からの参加者が集まったイベントもありました。オンラインならではの広いつながりで友達を作ろう。
➂留学で出会った友人たちとのプラットフォームとして活用しよう！
留学中に出会った海外の学生と、帰国後も交流を続けるには？そんな時にもVirtual Mi-Roomは活用できます。物理的な距離が離れた友達とも顔を合わせて交流することができます。
oViceでは自分のアバターを使って移動します。
他の参加学生とリアルで隣にいるように交流ができます。

Use foreign languages for cross-cultural experiences!
Mi-Room is a global communication space where you can experience different cultures and international exchanges that you cannot get in everyday life.
There are two types of rooms, one located on campus (face-to-face) and the other accessible as a virtual space (online). Not only can you improve your language skills but also cultivate an international mindset.
Why not keep Mi-Room as a part of your academic life?
It is a place that you can enjoy international communications while on campus or at home.

What to do in Mi-Room
１．Our faculty and student staff GTAs (Global Teaching Assistants) conduct a variety of sessions on foreign languages and cultures.
Improve your English and multilingual skills, expose yourself to different cultures and new languages, and incorporate global experiences into your campus life.

２．Join our events and orientations!
Make friends with Kandai and exchange students by participating in cross-cultural events. We hold events for students from all over the world to gather and provide orientations on the latest study abroad programs. Please check our event calendar for the latest information!

Virtual Mi-Room
Virtual Mi-Room is a virtual space where Kansai University students and students of partner universities can freely communicate online. You can enjoy free conversations in different languages.
(1) Join our regular event "intermittent Study Abroad"
We have set up a conversation space where you can speak not only in Japanese and English but also in various other languages. You can interact with international students in Japanese or ask native students to teach you the language you are studying.

(2) Participate in online events!
Experience cross-cultural exchange from home by participating in events. In 2022, we've had events with participants joined from more than 10 countries. Make friends through the wide range of connections that only online can offer.
(3) Use it as a platform to connect with friends you have met while studying abroad!
Want to stay in touch with friends from studying abroad after you return to your home country? Virtual Mi-Room can be very useful in such a case. You can communicate face to face with friends even if you are far away.
