IIGE Vice-Director Prof. Keiko Ikeda and Kansai University Assistant Profs. Sajjad Pouromid, Elvita Wiasih, and Jiun-Yan Wu presented a workshop on COIL for Hiroshima University faculty via ZOOM  on Friday, May 8th titled, "Doing COIL".In the workshop, the general information on VE/COIL was introduced, describing different ways to conduct COIL along with several current examples of how Kansai University IIGE professors have been doing their COIL projects in their courses.

 

 

The presenters also shared ideas and tips in facilitating COIL projects and challenges that they have faced during their interaction with various partners.

 

 

 

The workshop included Q&A sessions where individual participants had opportunities to ask questions as well as to discuss potential  difficulties and benefits of incorporating COIL  into their courses.
