On Friday, January 17th, IIGE held a mini-COIL event for COIL Plus students traveling to the U.S. this Februrary 2020 (New York, Hawaii, and California). The event was attended by MEXT official Tomoharu Kariba, accompanied by U.S. Department of Education Education Program Specialist Mr. John McLaughlin, in an effort to learn more about internationalization efforts at Kansai University. 

 

During the COIL session, students connected with instructors from Hawaii (Kapiolani Community College) and San Francisco for an introduction to the topics they will explore during their mobility programs, as well as ice breaking activities to get to know each other better prior to departure.
