Universiti Malaysia Pahang Professor Gan Min Leong engaged with Kansai University students in an interactive online seminar in which he provided an introduction to important historical developments in automotive industries that have enabled the growth in research and development of energy efficient vehicle (EEV) technologies.

 

Professor Gan and students discussed key developments in the areas of battery design and deployment, the use of hybrid power delivery and control systems, and how range extension and power delivery infrastructure can be further improved.

Students were able to interact with Professor Gan through the use of Zoom, a popular online telecommunication application, and this permitted for an informal virtual classroom engagement in which discussion about the future of EEVs and how developments in autonomous driving may be linked to future public transportation use.

 

Kansai University students are also able to work with their Universiti Malaysia Pahang student peers using similar technology in consideration of topical issues in science and technology.
