Prof. Tomoki Furukawa (Division of International Affairs・JIGE) held a Business Japanese Session as part of online Japanese lecture series offered by JIGE. 27 Taiwanese students (Soochow University, Taiwan) participated in this session. 

 

This   session   entitled   "Learning   cross-cultural   communication   in   business situations", was to provide the students with the practical opportunity to consider how   to   deal   with   misunderstandings  and   miscommunications   that   can   occur in actual business situations. 

 

This session used Japan Virtual Campus (JV-Campus) as a platform. The students were asked to watch a video as a preliminary study, and they then attended a real-time session with their cultivated knowledge for deeper engagements.
