Prof. Eric Isaac from FIU visited IIGE

On Friday, Sept 30th, prof. Eric Isaac from Florida International University (FIU) visited IIGE. Eric Isaac is an adjunct professor at the Department of Religious Studies, where he teaches various courses on the analysis and interpretation of religion with a special focus on the topic of spiritual power and abuse within faith communities. He has also been involved in teaching study-abroad programs in Scotland and Japan, as well as COIL courses and FIU's Global First Year Program.

During the visit, prof. Isaac met with IIGE vice-director Keiko Ikeda and IIGE coordinators Rob Kuipers and Mariya Byvakina to discuss opportunities for collaborations on COIL and blended mobility between IIGE and FIU.

With its Office of Collaborative Online International Learning and various training institutes, FIU has been at the forefront of COIl initiatives in the U.S. and IIGE is excited to expand our collaborations in different areas.
