Students and faculty from Bridgewater State University visited Kansai University

On Thursday May 25th, students and faculty from Bridgewater State university (BWSU) visited Kansai University's Senriyama Campus and joined a session in the Multilingual Immersion Room (MI-Room), a global communication space where students can do language exchange and join various sessions organized by students themselves.

 

The BWSU students learned various phrases in Japanese, such as ways to introduce themsemselves and how to make friends. After having some lively conversations and playing word-games such as the broken telephone, they joined a small cultural workshop in which KU students shared how to make origami Kabuto helmets out of newspapers. 

 

Chien Wen Yu, professor of Management & Marketing and coordinator of Asian Studies Program at Bridgewater State University, met with IIGE Vice-director Keiko Ikeda to discuss ongoing and future collaborations between Bridgewater State University and Kansai University.
