On November 17, 2022, Dr. Andrew J. Taylor, professor of Political Science in the School of Public and International Affairs at NC State University (US) visited Kansai University and gave a lecture at one of our hyflex COIL classes. Kansai University students enrolled in the ASEAN Studies course welcomed Prof. Taylor to their class, in which he gave a lecture on the recent US political stance and his insight into the relationships the US shares with specific Asian nations. Since it was a hyflex COIL class, the class was also joined by a group of students from San Pedro College (Philippines) with whom the KU students have been working on a COIL project together for the last few weeks. The lecture was concluded with some questions from the students and they moved onto working in small groups where they discussed their team project.
