On August 14th, our Joint Honors Program students disembarked in Russia for a day of fieldwork, including a visit to start-up company DOM (one of our program sponsors), the Japan Center, and various sightseeing spots in Vladivostok. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On board the Peace Boat, the students began their second SDGs Action challengein preparation for their final presentation on the ship as showcase on Aug 22nd.

 

 

In their seminars, students learned the "how-to"s of becoming strong writers, presenters, and negotiators in separate sessions. Dr. Alexis Dudden (pictured below in pink) assisted the students' skill training sessions.
