KU Students Joined the Virtual Internship Program Hosted by PIM

On March 11, Kansai University students and their peers from all over the world joined the Zoom session to wrap up their virtual internship program, organized by Panyapiwat Institute of Management (Thailand).

In the 4-day program, titled “Virtual Leadership Entrepreneurship Development”, students from 11 various countries including Bangladesh, Belgium, Cambodia, China, South Korea, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan connected online to participate. During the program, they were given opportunities to learn each other’s culture through workshops and to work together on a group project themed “Health and Wellness Business in 2021”. In the group project, the students divided into multiple groups to research on new products and trends in their own country and/or international perspective. In addition, the program welcomed guest lecturers in which the impact of COVID-19 had on different business were discussed, which allowed students to have a glimpse of the challenges that global business are facing.

On the last day of the program, the students presented their group project to share their findings and insights as well as their favorite moments in the program to reflect on what they have learned during the experience.
