As part of “The First SEAMEO RIHED-JANU Seminar and Study Visit to Japan on Technology Innovation and Social Engagement for Sustainable Development,” 12 delegates spent the day at Kansai University, visiting Senriyama Campus to learn about the efforts being made in assistive technology.

 

 

Professor Keiko Ikeda, Vice Director of IIGE, presented on KU COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) activities and introduced the newly established Institute for Innovative Global Education, focusing on the importance of transnational cooperation and cultivation of intercultural competence in students through COIL activities.

 

 

IIGE would like to extend its thanks to the delegates for their attentive participation, and express the hope that COIL collaboration may lead to the development of new partnerships and cooperation between Japanese and South East Asian universities in the near future.
