On May 21st, Kansai University students and their COIL partners, the students from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP, Malaysia), met virtually for the second time. They had been communicating throughout the week on Padlet, a platform where they can exchange videos, pictures and comment on each others' submissions. On the platform, they had introduced themselves as well as their life as lab students, showing the equipment they use on daily basis and videos of their current research. 

In the 2nd COIL session, they were able to meet in breakout rooms to discuss some examples of social issues in their country, and ideas on how their study field can contribute to provide some solution to those issues. 
They will meet again next Friday to further discuss their upcoming project, which they have been working on in groups and  it will be presented during the final session.
