EAIE 2021: COIL and Curriculum Design: How to Develop Intercultural Competencies in a Pandemic

IIGE Vice-Director Dr. Keiko Ikeda co-presented on "COIL and Curriculum Design: How to Develop Intercultural Competencies in a Pandemic," at the EAIE COMMUNITY EXCHANGE: Virtual Conference and Exhibition with AIEA Executive Director Dr. Darla Deardorff and UNICollaboration Board President Sarah Guth.

In this session, they highlighted two vital aspects of COIL development: redesigning collaborative projects so that they promote global citizenry; and integrating processes to allow students to reflect on themselves and others, in order to capture any transformation of their value systems.
