On February 12, IIGE held an online webinar in which we had welcomed Dr. Harvey Charles (University of Albany, SUNY) as a guest speaker to discuss international education in the next phase. In the webinar, titled “International Education Leadership in a Time of Upheaval and Crisis”, Dr. Charles talked about the impact COVID made us more aware of in international education or at HEI in general as well as how we can address more towards reducing inequality in terms of access to international education. In addition, he had pointed out the significant role COIL plays during the limited mobility phase in international education.
