Dear JPN-COIL Association Members,

 

Warm greetings from Kansai University IIGE.

 

We are pleased to announce that the second general meeting of the JPN-COIL Association for FY2021 will be held according to the information outlined below.

The JPN-COIL Association was established by the 13 founding universities selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for the Inter-University Exchange Project, "Supporting Exchange with U.S. Universities Using COIL-style Education." As of February 2022, we have 47 regular members, 10 supporting members, 2 individual members, and 5 international chapter members.

 

In this second general meeting of FY2021, we plan to host an exchange of information and opinions on COIL, which is the purpose of the Association. Using the ZOOM breakout function, we will divide into different topic-based rooms where you will have a chance to listen to presentations by Association-member presenters, and engage in open discussion. We have prepared the themes listed here and are currently accepting presenter applications from our Regular Member institutions

◆Topic Presenters

5-minute presentations will be given for the purpose of sharing practical examples and issues.

The moderator of each room will then be in charge of the proceedings.

In order to provide opportunities for as many universities as possible, depending on the number of applications,

the number of participants may be limited to a maximum of one per institution.
◆Breakout room for participants

We recommend that participants enter Zoom from individual devices, as they can enter and leave the room freely.

Participants are requested to register individually.
