The culmination of the AI x Aging Society Metaverse Program was marked by a Digital Congress hosted in the virtual immersive world of Virbela. Over the course of four intensive weeks, 43 students from Japan and the United States gathered in this digital space to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our society today.

 

The program, a collaborative effort between Kansai University and Ludus Labs, a pioneering virtual startup incubator, focused on exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and the aging society. Students were tasked with validating business models and crafting innovative solutions to mitigate the challenges posed by an aging population.

 

During the final presentations, held within the virtual space of Virbela, seven teams showcased their AI-driven solutions aimed at addressing various facets of aging. From the AI Chef, which curates personalized and nutritious meal plans for the elderly, to the AI Mind Guardian, a digital companion offering brain-stimulating games to enhance cognitive health, the breadth of ingenuity on display was truly remarkable.

 

As the digital congress drew to a close, it became evident that the AI x Aging Society Metaverse Program had not only fostered innovation but had also laid the groundwork for a future where technology plays a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being of aging populations worldwide.
