On May 10, 2022, Kansai University students met with their peers at Clemson University (US) on Zoom to kick off their COIL project. The overall goal of this COIL is to enhance the participating KU and CU students’ global learning experiences by conducting the project.  The students are divided into 4 groups to work on the team project together in which the students will compare and contrast the different approaches in Japan and the US with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In today's meeting, students were given an opportunity to meet their team members online and get to know each other. They will meet two more times before the CU students arrive in Japan in June and they will continue to work on the group project in person.
