NAFSA Japan SIGの主催により、以下のとおりオンライン討議会 "Study Abroad during Pandemic:New Challenges and Adjustments" を開催いたしますので、ご案内申し上げます。

2020年初春より猛威を振るっている、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大は、変異種の登場などにより未だに終息の兆しが見えないままです。
このような状況下、大学では、外国人留学生や海外留学を希望する学生への対応について試行錯誤を繰り返し、情報提供、施策の立案・実行をしながら、学生サポートを行ってきました。
そこで今回は、コロナ禍で日米の大学で様々な立場で留学を経験している、４名の学生にそれぞれの視点から、激動の１年をどのように切り抜け、学んだのかについて語っていただきます。この機会に参加者の皆さんと、今後の大学での対応について一緒に考える機会にできたらと考えております。

Please join us for the JapanSIG Online Student Panel Discussion Open
Meeting on Friday 06/11 (US date), or Saturday 06/12 (Japan date). We
hope the Friday evening time in the U.S. and the Saturday morning time
in Japan will allow many members to join the meeting. During this
Student Panel Discussion, we will be learning from students who have
been studying abroad during pandemics. During this event, students
will share their real voices: experiences, challenges, and
adjustments. Therefore, we can fulfill the gap between what students
need and what universities can provide. Our panels represent both
Universities in Japan and the U.S. as well as small and large
institutions.
