International Relations and Minority Research Team
The team researches on international standard of connotation and exclusion of minority.
Firstly, this research team examines the standard which the international society uses to recognize status of a group of people as minority, or not recognize another as minority.
Furthermore, secondly, the team researches on what international law, in present society, should use as a standard to recognize (or should not recognize) minority. The conventional approach used on dealing with minority problem or research, in political or legal opinion, generally focuses on movement or political power about how to make minority problem a mainstream.
The originality of this research is that, in accordance to relating movements, the research uses the model approach which focuses on legal study. Only by using this approach, the academic achievement from earnest confrontation with minority; “the maker of uniqueness” shall be obtained.
