information2021/11/24 Courtesy Visit by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Japan

On November 15, a total of 12 people paid a courtesy visit to the university, including His Excellency Dato' Kennedy Jawan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Japan, and executives of Japan Graduates' Association of Malaysia.
After opening remarks by the university president and the ambassador, Professor Keiko Ikeda of the School of International Studies gave a briefing on the SUCCESS-Osaka program, a project sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and led by the university to promote employment opportunities for international students. Then, Mr. Muhamad Anas Bin Azraei (3rd year student, Faculty of Economics), an international student from Malaysia participating in this program, presented his experiences and impressions.
Next, professor Akinori Kuzuya of the Faculty of Chemistry, Materials and Bioengineering introduced research exchanges and educational exchanges, such as the state of international joint research with Malaysian partner schools and the acceptance of students.
In addition, Mr. Goh Chee Seong of Japan Graduates' Association of Malaysia presented their activities and shared information with both sides.
At the business card exchange and social gathering that followed, we actively talked about future interactions.
