Established in November 2006
Kansai University established "the Kansai University Japan-EU Research Center" at KU Leuven, Belgium, on November 4th, 2006, as part of its 120th anniversary celebrations.
In 2021, fifteen years after its establishment, we reorganized the center as a new base for education and research activities based on the achievements of our two universities. Accordingly, we changed its name to "the Kansai University European Center."
The Center aims to promote research and educational exchange and build a network between Kansai University and KU Leuven, and other European universities.
