Applicant Eligibility

Regular students who have enrolled in the undergraduate or the　graduate program at Kansai University as of Fall 2026.

*Foreign research students are not eligible to apply, as they are not regular students of Kansai University Graduate School.

*Those who will have a status of Leave of Absence for the Fall semester of 2026 are not eligible to apply.

*If you are a Bekka entrant, please apply through the application method provided separately by the university.

Ideal Candidate

Those who can observe dormitory regulations and live together with others.

Those who agree to actively participate and cooperate in international exchanges, interact with locals, and participate in Human Resource Development Programs.

Period of Residency

(in principle)

Two semesters (one semester for non-degree students)

Residents wishing to extend their stay beyond this period must reapply through the dormitory application process and be selected.

*We accept only one application per person.

* (For current students of Kansai University who have been admitted to a graduate program at Kansai University as Fall 2026 entrants) For the question regarding your enrollment status for the Fall 2026 semester in the application form, please select: “Have passed the graduate school entrance exam (Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Bekka program at Kansai Uni.)”

* Please carefully read the pages for each dormitory on this website, as well as the information provided in this article, and be sure to fill in the required information by yourself.

* A guarantor's approval is required. If you do not have a guarantor's approval, your application will be invalid.

Selection Method

We will determine the outcome after a thorough review of all items entered in the application form.

Announcement of the Results

Thu, August 6, 2026 (morning)

*Results will be notified by email.

If you do not receive the result by 12:00p.m. on the announcement date, contact us immediately.

Check-in Date

Thu, September 17, 2026　9:00a.m.～5:00p.m.

*Unless there is a special reason, entering the dormitory is restricted to the designated date.

Dormitory Orientation

Fri, September 18, 2026  (The time will be announced later)

*All new residents are required to attend.
