Academic Year 2026 Spring Semester Student Dormitory Resident Registration (For Future Students)

The application for residency in Kansai University owned student dormitories, Global House, Student House Shurei-ryo, Dormitory Tsukigaoka, and Minami-Senri International Plaza International Students Dormitory is now open.

For those who wish to apply for residency, please read the following application requirements in detail and proceed with the necessary registration procedures during the application period.

 

【For Future Students】

*Please apply as “Future Students” if you have passed the entrance exam of Kansai University Graduate School for the spring semester of 2026 at the time of your application for the dormitory.

*1 Any gender can enter the dormitory.

  Please refer to the attached All-gender Unit Q&A for details.

*2 Student House Shurei-ryo and Minami-Senri International Plaza International Student Domitory will revise their accommodation fees effective April 2026. Please refer to the “The Comparison Table of 4 Dormitories” for details regarding the revised dormitory fees and

   associated charges.

Applicant Eligibility

Regular students who have enrolled in the undergraduate or the graduate program at Kansai University as of Spring 2026.

*Foreign research students are not eligible to apply, as they are not regular students of Kansai University Graduate School.

*Those who will have a status of Leave of Absence for the spring semester of 2026 are not eligible to apply.

Ideal Candidate

Those who can observe dormitory regulations and live together with others.

Those who agree to actively participate and cooperate in international exchanges, interact with locals, and participate in Human Resource Development Programs.

Period of Residency

Two semesters (in principle)

Application Period

First Period:

  Friday, December 12, 2025 Tuesday, January 6, 2026

Second Period:

  Friday, February 13, 2026 ~ 12:00p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026

Third Period:

  Friday, March 6, 2026 ~ Sunday, March 22, 2026

 

 * You can apply for all of the periods listed above.

  (You may apply up to three times.)

* After the above period has passed, you will no longer be able to apply.

*We accept only one application per person. ⇒If you need to make any corrections to the information you have entered after applying, send an e-mail to residenceoffice@ml.kandai.jp.

* Please carefully read the pages for each dormitory on this website, as well as the information provided in this article, and be sure to fill in the required information by yourself.

*A guarantor's approval is required. If you do not have a guarantor's approval, your application will be invalid.

Selection Method

We will determine the outcome after a thorough review of all items entered in the application form.

Announcement of the Results

First Period:

 The morning of Wednesday, February 4, 2026

*Results will be notified by email.

If you do not receive the result by noon on the announcement date, contact us immediately.

 

Second Period:

 The afternoon of Wednesday, March 18, 2026

*Results will be notified by email.

If you do not receive the result by 3:00p.m. on the announcement date, contact us immediately.

 

Third Period:

 The afternoon of Thursday, March 26, 2026

*Results will be notified by email.

If you do not receive the result by 3:00p.m. on the announcement date, contact us immediately.

Check-in Date

Monday, March 30, 2026 9:00a.m.~5:00p.m.

※Unless there is a special reason, entering the dormitory is restricted to the designated date.

Dormitory Orientation

Tuesday, March 31, 2026  (The time will be announced later)

*All new residents are required to attend.

Special Notes

Please consult us beforehand in case there are special circumstances that we should be aware of for entering the dormitory.
