Academic Year 2025 Spring Semester Student Dormitory Resident Registration (For Enrolled Students)
The application for residency in Kansai University owned student dormitories, Global House*1, Student House Shurei-ryo, Dormitory Tsukigaoka*2, Minami-Senri International Plaza International Students Dormitory*1, and Kansai University International Dormitory is now open.
For those who wish to apply for residency, please read the following application requirements in detail and proceed with the necessary registration procedures during the application period.
※If you have passed the entrance examination of Kansai University Graduate School for the spring semester of 2025 at the time of your application for the dormitory, please check the application guidelines for Future Students and apply as a future student.
*1 In Global House and Minami-Senri International Plaza International Students Dormitory there are
all-gender units. The all-gender unit is a space where any gender can enter the dormitory.
Please refer to the attached All-gender Unit Q&A for details.
*2 Dormitory Tsukigaoka will change its dormitory rooms to single occupancy from April 2025.
The entrance fee will be revised to 22,000 yen, the dormitory fee and deposit to 42,000 yen.

Applicant Eligibility |
Regular students who have enrolled in the undergraduate or the graduate program and the Bekka program at Kansai University as of Spring 2025. ※Foreign research students are unqualified to apply as they are not regular students of the graduate school at Kansai University. ※Those who will have a status of Leave of Absence for the Spring Semester of 2025 are unqualified to apply. |

Ideal Candidate |
Those who can observe dormitory regulations and live together with others. Those who agree to actively participate and cooperate in international exchanges, interact with locals, and participate in Human Resource Development Programs. |

Two semesters (in principle) *Bekka students: One semester (in principle) |

Procedure for |
Application through the Information System "申請・アンケート". Title: Academic Year 2025 Spring Semester Student Dormitory Resident Application (For Enrolled Students) ※We accept only one application per person. (Selection is by document screening, not by lottery.) ※Please check each dormitory's page on the International Student Dormitory website, etc., and be sure to fill in the required information. ※Please make sure to fill out the application form by yourself. ※A guarantor's approval is required. If you do not have a guarantor's approval, your application will be invalid. ※If you need to make any corrections to the information you have entered after applying, send an e-mail to residenceoffice@ml.kandai.jp. ※The items to be entered in the application form can be found in the attached Entry Items for the Student Dormitory Resident Application. |

Announcement of the Results |
Thursday, January 30, 2025 ※Results will be notified by personal messages on the Information System, by 5pm of the announcement day. Bekka students will receive the results through email. ※If you do not receive the result by this date and time, contact us immediately. |

Thursday, March 27, 2025 9:00a.m.～6:00p.m. ※Unless there is a special reason, entering the dormitory is restricted to the designated date. |
