Total student body in the undergraduate department is 1,100 students.

Admissions

We offer admission to students who have academic interest in the area of safety and security, who are proactive in responding to change, and who are eager to seek challenges and acquire the ability to approach such challenges in a flexible and comprehensive manner. Screening will include an entrance examination to assess the academic knowledge and skills of potential candidates.

Curriculum

Our 4-year undergraduate course focuses on four areas: (1) systematic and advanced specialized knowledge pertaining to the prevention and mitigation of natural disasters and accidents including risk management, (2) practical expertise through hands-on learning, such as experimental destruction, (3) research, debates, presentations, and advanced information processing, including knowledge of technical English terms, and (4) comprehensive analysis of natural disasters and accidents with policy proposals to address such issues.

Diploma

The degree of Bachelor of Arts and Sciences will be granted to students who have successfully completed 124 credits in the 4-year education program. Specifically, students are expected to acquire the abilities outlined in the Leadership Development section. Upon graduation, graduates are expected to be able to plan in a comprehensive manner using risk management skills to ensure safety and security locally, nationally and internationally.
