Kyoto Fieldwork (Onko-chishin Project) conducted by first-year senior high school students

November 11 (Mon)
As part of its efforts as a Super Global High School, Kansai University Senior High School implemented an "Onko-chishin Project," in which students visited Kyoto-based public organizations and private companies to conduct survey research concerning reasons and strategies for succeeding in enhancing their international presence.

The first-year students of our Senior High School, divided into small groups of about five students each, made appointments for interviews with companies and Kyoto Prefecture-related organizations and visited them to take company tours and carry out face-to-face interviews. Through this project, students were able to foster their abilities to think and communicate.

They also conducted interviews with foreign tourists at tourist attractions in Kyoto to ask about their impression of Japan. On the day of Kyoto fieldwork, the students were blessed with good weather, and were able to smoothly proceed with their projects.

Every word of top companies carries a lot of weight. The fieldwork enriched the students' experience.
