Global education orientation meeting held for first-year senior high school students

On April 12 (Sat), an orientation meeting regarding global education was held for first-year senior high school students.

As Kansai University Senior High School was designated by the education ministry as a Super Global High School for the 2014 academic year, we held an orientation meeting regarding global education, an important pillar of our education system.

In the first half of the meeting, Prof. Morisaki from Kansai University's Faculty of Foreign Language Studies, delivered a lecture on cross-cultural communication to the first-year students.

In the second half of the meeting, explanations were given to students and their parents about short-term study abroad programs and language training opportunities provided as part of our efforts to promote "global education" in our school. Mr. Yoshimoto, President of the overseas tour operator Cotswolds Wind Academy, talked about English language training opportunities in the UK, showing video.

We hope that by taking advantage of our global education, students will develop an ability to play an active role on the global stage.
