Roundtable Talk: Learning from Alumni of the Bekka!

2024/11/28

On November 20, we held a 'Roundtable Talk' entitled 'Learning from Alumni of the Bekka' at the Kansai University Japanese Language and Culture Program Preparatory Course!

For this event, we invited alumni who graduated from the Bekka and are currently pursuing their studies or research at Kansai University or its graduate school. They spent some valuable time with the current students, sharing their experiences and offering advice. It was a good opportunity to hear from the alumni's experiences and advice, sparking many enthusiastic questions from participants.

Main Session
The event began with a main session, where alumni spoke about the application process for further studies, tips for effective learning, and strategies for adapting to different cultures. The alumni's firsthand perspectives offered the Bekka students valuable insights to guide them toward their future goals.

Small Group Sessions
Next, participants were divided into small groups. In each group, they were able to engage in deeper discussions, with alumni carefully addressing questions and concerns. The relaxed atmosphere, unique to small groups, also fostered stronger connections among the participants.

One of the highlights of the Roundtable Talk was the active involvement of current Bekka students, who served as moderators and helped kick the event into high gear! Their active involvement made the event even more meaningful.

Here are some comments shared by the participants:
"Hearing what the alumni were actually saying motivated me to keep working hard!"
"Their specific advice was incredibly helpful!"

We will continue to provide opportunities for Bekka students to connect and grow through such enriching events. Don't miss the next event!4.jpg3.jpg2.jpg1.jpg
