Kansai University will establish the Faculty of Business Data Science in the next academic year! In advance of the establishment of the new faculty, an informational session was held on October 3 for international students in the Bekka. The Bekka students interested in pursuing this program attentively listened to the presentation.

Here is a brief overview of the session:

▼ Ideal Candidates for Nurturing

• DX professionals who can utilize their knowledge of business and data science to drive organizational transformation through team discussions.
• Individuals capable of leveraging data to solve problems and thrive in the unpredictable VUCA era.

▼ Features of the Learning Program

In addition to business and data science courses, the program incorporates active learning in collaboration with a number of companies. Students will use real data provided by these companies to address actual business challenges, thereby enhancing their practical skills.

▼ Support System for International Students

• Experienced faculty members, including former Microsoft employees and native English-speaking instructors, will be appointed!
• Although there are currently no classes offered solely in English, the program provides a supportive environment conducive to learning in an international setting.
• A second foreign language is not mandatory.
• A math test will be administered upon admission. A system is in place to allow students to learn the fundamentals at different levels according to their skills.
