IJLC Summer 2, which started on July 3, 2023, successfully completed its 24-day curriculum on July 26, 2023. We welcomed a total of 53 participants from 7 countries/regions; Taiwan, China, Korea, USA, UK, Switzerland and France. The course was a very lively.

Once again, KU students participated as "Conversational Partners" in the Japanese language classes to support the international students.

Thanks to their supports, all 53 participants were able to give a final presentation summarizing their results in Japanese on the last day of the program.

In addition to the Japanese language classes, they went on field trips to Kyoto and Kobe, where they spent a wonderful time experiencing Yuzen dyeing and making food models.

During the course, hot weather continued after the end of the rainy season. At first, the participants were a bit confused by the unfamiliar environment, but the three weeks flew by. When the program ended, they reluctantly bid farewell.
