Intensive Japanese Language and Culture Course students experienced "Sado "

Intensive Japanese Language and Culture Course (IJLC) students experienced "Sado " (Tea ceremony) on January 23rd (Wed.). Through lectures by Sado instructor, the IJLC students learned "Sado" spirit of hospitality, graceful manners and consideration towards the other people who joined together. The students enjoyed the time of "Sado", even though they were surprised by the taste of "Matcha" (green powdered tea) and Japanese sweets, and had much trouble in posture of "Seiza" (formal way to sit on Japanese tatami).
