Associate Professor Tomoki Furukawa from Division of International Affairs and Specially Appointed Lecturer in Japanese Language and Culture Program Mayuko Tezuka won"Journal of Japanese Language Teaching " Article Award 2016 in The Society for Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language 2017 Spring Meeting held on May 20 and 21 in Waseda University.

This award is given for the article which is especially recognized among research articles, investigative reports, and practical reports published in "Journal of Japanese Language Teaching". This year, the article "Flipped Classroom Practice for Japanese Language Education: Grammar Instruction for Advanced Learners" published in "Journal of Japanese Language Teaching, 165" has been highly esteemed to win this award.
