A Day in the Life of a Kansai University Elementary School Student
Thanks to a rich educational environment, students at Kansai University Elementary School enjoy an exciting school life. In addition to learning a great deal every day, they develop a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm while playing with their friends during recess and reading a variety of available books in the library. This page introduces a typical day of our students at school.

7:45 a.m.Good morning!

“Good morning!” The new day begins with elementary school students greeting each other energetically as they arrive at school.

8:25 a.m.Modular Learning

Every morning, a 15-minute block of time is used for Modular Learning. Students learn about Japanese, arithmetic, and English; read books; and engage in other activities, including using computers.

10:40 a.m.Music

During music time, energetic singing voices reverberate throughout the music room. Students develop rich expressive skills while having fun learning together about music.

12:20 p.m.Lunch

After a warm lunch featuring a well-balanced and nutritious menu, students can work hard during the day’s afternoon classes.

1:00 p.m.Cleaning

After lunch, it’s time for students to clean up their classrooms. Each student is responsible for a task as they work together to keep the school clean.

1:35 p.m.English

Fifth- and sixth-graders study English four hours every week. During this time, they develop the ability to communicate in English while having fun.

2:30 p.m.Social Studies

All classrooms have an electronic whiteboard. By effectively using this resource, teachers are able to make their lessons easier to understand so that they can concentrate on focused learning.

3:35 p.m.Clubs and Committees

Students participate in club and committee activities in the fourth and fifth grades. Through these activities, they develop autonomy and social skills.
