On December 12th, 2023 a research workshop was held between Kansai University and Chulalongkorn University.

The workshop, entitled "Kansai University and Chulalongkorn University Joint International Research Workshop 2023" under the theme of "Challenges in Modern Energy and Environmental Issues and  Modern Approaches to Tackle" was the first attempt to utilize the Kansai University Bangkok Office which is located within in Chulalongkorn University.

At the workshop, after the opening remarks by Division of International Affairs, Kansain University and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Dr. Takanori Miyake, and Dr. Shunsuke Tanaka from Faculty of Environmental Urban Engineering, Kansai University, and Dr. Supareak Praserthdam and Dr. Stephan Thierry Dubas from Chulalongkorn University gave presentation of the achievements.
After the information session of research funding on JSPS and National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Master’s and Ph.D. students from both universities had a poster session.
In closing, Chulalongkorn University and the NRCT touched on the partnership up until now, and expressed its expectations for further collaboration between Kansai University and Chulalongkorn University.

On 13th, Kansai University students joined lab tours.

Lively Q&A sessions took place at research presentations, poster sessions, and lab tours which made the program enriched.
