On August 9th, our Joint Honors Program students docked in Nagasaki, where they undertook a day of independent field work. As a group they visited Glover Garden, Hollander Slope, Chinatown, and the Nagasaki Traditional Performing Arts Museum. 

 

 

 

 

The following day, they left Japan for a day of activities in the port area of Busan, South Korea. Joining five students from the Busan University of Foreign Studies, they took part in a special lecture at the Busan Kyungsang College/Hwashin Cyber University, which was broacast LIVE on the university's website.

 

 

 

 

As part of a bus tour, they also visited the UN Memorial Cemetary and Gamcheon Culture Village.
